ONE-ON-ONE
MOTORCYCLE TRAINING
- Private lessons for new riders last 3-4 hours and cost $375.
- Advanced Skill Training and Refreshers are customized based on location and duration. Please contact JR’s for a personalized consultation.
- For areas that exceed a distance of 30 miles from Cherry Hill, NJ, an additional fee may be applied to accommodate for gas, tolls, time and mileage. Any additional fee will be discussed prior to scheduling.
- Appointment times are limited and slotted to accommodate riders with a true desire to learn how to ride. For this reason, payment in full is required when booking in order to secure your timeslot. Please be prepared to make your payment when contacting us to book.
- While JR’s is happy to accommodate extenuating and verifiable circumstances, any cancellation without valid cause will result in the forfeiture of your payment.

- If your specific learning style requires longer than usual lesson times, or multiple lessons, arrangements can be made for subsequent lessons at a reduced cost.
ROAD TEST RENTAL/
PRE-TEST PRACTICE
- Road test rental includes transportation of our motorcycle to and from vehicle testing site and a 1-2 hour practice session directly before your test. This service is discounted to $150 if a lesson was provided by JR’s PCL. If a lesson was not provided by JR’s, the rental fee is $175.
- For areas that exceed a distance of 30 miles from Cherry Hill, NJ, an additional fee may be applied to accommodate for gas, tolls, time and mileage. Any additional fee will be discussed prior to service.
- Our Honda Rebel 250, is one of the most preferred motorcycles to use for testing purposes. In addition, our riders typically prefer to take their road test on the same bike on which they learned to ride. For this reason, payment in full is required when booking in order to secure your timeslot. Please be prepared to make your payment when contacting us to book.

RIDE ALONGS
- The cost for a Ride Along varies based on location and duration. Please contact JR’s for a personalized consultation.

MOTORCYCLE PURCHASE ASSISTANCE
JR’s knows what questions to ask when purchasing a new or used motorcycle either from a dealership or private seller. We make sure you walk away both happy with your purchase and knowing it fits you and your budget with no hidden costs. When we obtain a quote for a JR’s rider from one of our partners, we challenge them every time to find a better deal and have yet to be beat! MOTORCYCLE REPAIR & MAINTENANCE
JR’s has several motorcycle repair and maintenance partners that service motorcycles within New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our partners offer expert motorcycle repair and maintenance services with the added convenience of coming to you! With an hourly rate of only $75.00 an hour, your motorcycle service, restoration or custom motorcycle needs will be treated with precision and care as if the bike was their own.
MOTORCYCLE TRANSPORT
The cost for the above service varies based on location and duration. Please contact JR’s for a personalized consultation
what’s required
- Current automobile or motorcycle permit/driver’s license valid at time of service.
- For services conducted on a motorcycle provided by JR’s PCL, a picture of your DL or permit must be presented prior to the lesson.
- Appropriate riding attire. You must wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, helmet or eye protection and shoes or boots covering your ankles are preferred.

At JR’s Private Cycle Lessons, our mission is to teach those who want to learn how to safely and effectively ride a motorcycle. When you come to JR’s Private Cycle Lessons, you receive personalized, non-stop instruction, customized to your specific skill level. While we recognize the value of state run safety courses, these classes are typically days long, designed as a one size fits all approach, and focus more on classroom content than practical, on range individual rider training. Whether you grasp a concept quickly or need more time, you are only able to learn at the pace of those around you. At JR’s we use a customized approach to teach you how to ride at your own pace while building your comfort and confidence level as your progress. We are not affiliated with any state agencies or state run safety courses. Although we cannot offer you an endorsement on your license, we can offer you the peace of mind knowing you chose the right place to come for all of your rider training needs.
Customer satisfaction is our priority and you will absolutely leave our lesson knowing how to ride. While we will always do our best to ensure every rider who comes to us leaves satisfied and knowing how to ride, unfortunately there are times where we may advise that riding a motorcycle may not be for you. This is not only for your protection, but that of others as well. As individual results vary based on learning styles, we always stress the importance of being open with JR’s staff about your specific learning style as well as and coming back for follow up lessons once you become more familiar with the concept of motorcycle riding.
